Mission
The International Currency System Engineering Group (ICSEG) is an online working group made up of professionals with technical and scientific backgrounds with the mission to develop principles, specification and governance of a Currency System that enables stable economic activity.
Rules of participation
- Prospective members must submit their identity and profession to the moderator(marc .at. icseg .dot. org) prior to participating in the ICSEG
- Prospective members intending to participate in the ICSEG on behalf of a corporate or organisational entity (e.g. FED, ECB, private bank, credit union, governmental agency etc.) or are the heirs of a family-owned banking or financial institution or empire must submit the name of the entity and any independent consultants offering their consultancy services in financial areas must state so to the moderator.
- Upon subscription to the email reflector new members are expected to introduce themselves.
- All posts shall be directly within the ICSEG’s mission
- All members shall address all other members with respect and civility. No direct or indirect derogatory remarks about another member will be tolerated and upon three instances of such behaviour the offender will be suspended and only allowed to resume by invitation of the offended party(ies).
- External references may be provided for the benefit of members. However, argumentations may not rely on them. All arguments must be asserted, articulated and presented by members and only their text shall be considered or evaluated.
- All information provided shall be true and accurate to the best of the members’ knowledge.
- All public communication of proceedings, documents, results, comments on or representations thereof in name of ICSEG shall be made available to ICSEG for comment and ratification before publication
- An ICSEG document is ratified, i.e. its contents is made public in the name of ICSEG, when it has been under discussion for sufficient time and is approved by 3/4 of those taking part in its development via email sent to the reflector.
- Those who objected to a document that failed to reach the required level for ratification are requested to make alternative proposals with a similar level of detail as the failed one. If none is submitted the old document may be proposed for ratification with an approval ratio lowered to 2/3.
- All documents, reflector text and contributions made to ICSEG are the sole property and responsibility of the original authors. However by submitting them to ICSEG, the authors agree to:
- Grant ICSEG the right to publish not for profit any part of their text
- Maintain moral and economic rights of any of their text
